7 Months!

7 Months seems like such a long time....but it has come so quickly....I love you more and more everyday.

* You weigh 18lbs. and your 26 inches long.

* You sit and play all the time now.  

* Your favorite toy is still your feet.

* You had a rough little bit this month with waking up at 5am again but I think we have figured that out by upping the oz. in your bedtime bottle.
* You put yourself on a schedule taking 2 naps a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
* You go to bed at 8pm now...this works great for mommy!

* EATING- You now take three 8oz bottles a day, eat oatmeal and fruit for breakfast, and Veggies for dinner. This schedule seems to work much better for you than 4 6oz bottles.  

* You drink from a sippy cup now....when someone holds it for you...lol (LAZY)

* I think you like hanging out at the ball field. 

* You wear 3-6 Months clothes but still have some 0-3 shirts and dresses that you can wear. Although, those 0-3 are getting snug...lol You have a few things that are 6-9 months from specific brands but for the most part we are still in 3-6 months. 

* You have two teeth...both bottom ones.  

* You don't crawl but you sure do get around. You scoot and roll everywhere you want to go.
* You have pulled up a couple of times on your toy basket to get different toys out. 

* You said "dadadadada" and "mommmmmmmaaaaaa" but you don't seem to say them often. 

* You still LOVE attention!

* You have started throwing what I can only think to call a TEMPER TANTRUM...enjoy it while you are to small to understand b/c me and daddy won't let it go on.  (these have only gotten worse)

* You have a 2 hour time limit in the car and then you want for awhile. lol

Tooth #2

I don't have any super cute pictures today....just wanted a reminder that Taylor got her 2nd tooth today. The bottom left one. I hate that she is growing up so fast!

Zoo....

We took Taylor for her first trip to the Nashville Zoo yesterday. It will be the first of many because we are members. It made sense to become members b/c we already knew of twice that were going and it ended up cheaper to have the membership. Which by the way are not expensive at all, for some people (with lots of kids) the membership could be cheaper than one visit. 

This picture is interesting to me...people love it but her facial expression is very different to me...she doesn't make this face often.

We got out and played with the birds....it must have just been to much. 

We stopped to eat lunch....I have no idea who this face was for...I hope not me and the camera...lol

New Stroller...

I don't usually do product reviews but this is so worth it!

I have been wanting a new stroller for a very long time but I have to admit it was kinda overwhelming trying to find one. There are hundreds of brands and I have found that you can't really go to the store and look at them most have to be ordered online. After many hours of looking and thinking about what was important to me in a stroller..I FOUND IT!

The biggest selling point for Abiie is the diaper changing table built in to the seat. I have to say it was pretty genius. I used it at the zoo yesterday and it was super fast, easy, and other moms were very impressed.  

Justins favorite thing is the handle because it be adjusted for taller people...now he doesn't have to hunch over push the stroller. 

I however am in love with the shade. It has two settings and completely protects her from the sun and wind and she can still see out. 

I got mine at Diapers.com They ship for free and super fast! (Babies R Us says they carry it in the store but after calling every store in a 50 mile radius I discovered that they don't carry it in the store in this region)  

*by the way...I totally thought for some reason this was British brand but it isn't they are from Texas. I must have been thinking about one of the other 200 stollers I looked at...lol

Look Mom I am a Big Girl Now...

Taylor has never liked being in the car...We thought at first that it was because she was afraid of the dark...which she is afraid of the dark but that wasn't her problem in the car. We put a DVD player in the truck to try to make it easier for her...and it did help Mickey Mouse clubhouse fixes everything around here. However, car rides longer than 15 or 20 minutes usually ended in SCREAMING! I had just come to accept that was what it was going to be...

Until a friend of ours found out they were going to be having a little boy. Our car seat and stroller were really a boy set, I had just gotten covers for them. So we decided that since I wanted a new stroller anyway (and I will post about this awesome stroller) that we could give them our set. Taylor hated her car seat anyway and wouldn't let you leave her in it so we had been leaving it in the car anyway. She has been sitting in restaurant high chairs for awhile now and we started just last week letting her ride in the buggy at stores. Although she still falls asleep every time...I am glad I got a cart cover with a pillow. 

So we switched out her car seat. The new one will last until she in a booster so I call it a big girl seat...made me a little bit sad...for all of a day. We put her in for her first ride and HOLY CRAP...we did not hear a peep out of her. she played with her toys and watched her Mickey Mouse. I thought this just can't be real...but I took her grocery shopping the next day and she stayed in the car and watched tv in the garage while I unloaded the car....I didn't know it could be so easy. 

By the way we also moved her seat from the middle to the side of the back seat. I think now she is sitting up higher and can see out the window. Makes for a happy baby and happy mommy!

Friends and a Trip to the Park...

Justins best friend and his family came up for a visit. Patrick, Sarah, and Liam live in Tampa, FL so we haven't seen them since our wedding reception and well that was just to long ago. Liam was 3 months old then....now he a very cute, happy, 20 month old. Just reminds us of what we have to look forward too. 

Some how I managed to not get a single picture of Patrick or Sarah....I don't really know how this happens.

While they were here we went to the park. It was Taylors first trip to the park EVER. Of course at 6 months old you don't really play at the park...unless I were to let her sit and chew on the mulch which she would have done happily...lol She did however get to test out the slide with Daddy....it was hit!
