Justin's dad built a toy box for Taylor for Christmas...I finally got it painted and her name put on it...

5 Months

5 Months old! I never knew that life could change so much in five short months...or that a child could grow so much. Please stop with the growing...I want to be a baby as long as you can!

* You weigh pretty close to 16lbs. and your about 25 inches long.

* You can sit by yourself...sometimes! I did get a picture for evidence. 

* Your favorite toy is still your feet.

* Your still sleeping pretty good and the last few nights you have slept until 6 or 7 instead of 4 or 5.

* EATING- You eat squash now! (We are waiting until you are 6 months to add fruit)

* You have been to a couple birthday parties this month...2 actually. 

* You wear all 3-6 months cloths now...I even had to take out all of your 0-3 month pjs. 

* You LOVE attention!

* You have started throwing what I can only think to call a TEMPER TANTRUM...enjoy it while you are to small to understand b/c me and daddy won't let it go on. 

*Mickey Mouse fixes everything...but you will watch Veggie Tales now

* You don't like to play alone much and defiantly don't want to be in a room alone. (you need a sister) lol

Bounce U Birthday Party

Sunday we went to a birthday party for Taylor's cousin at Bounce U in Murfreesboro. I have never been to a party at a Bounce U before but man they are awesome. The party coordinator even rights down the gifts and who they came from. I see this in our future for parties. 

Taylor couldn't really bounce but we let her lay on the slide and we bouced it....she LOVED it!

 She likes her finger these days...lol

Happy Valentines Weekend....

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

Since I have been a stay at home mom/wife I make a huge deal out of all the little holidays too...I mean what else do I have to look forward too!

Greyson's Carnival Party!

This post is WAY late...but I just uploaded the photos today. 

We went to Greyson's Carnival Party a few weekends ago...and had so much fun. Of course Becca went way above and beyond (for the record, I was informed that there would be no competition coming from me...Taylors parties will not be that big...we will see if he wins or not...little does he know I have been thinking about her first party for weeks now :)  ) but she loves the little guy and he is so very worth all of the effort. 

Taylor was still to little to really play...here is what she did the first half of the party:

and the other half of the party...I did not see her...lol She just loves everyone and she let them pass her around with a huge smile on her face. 

Ear Piercing...

Last night we went and had Taylors ears pierced. I wasn't sure if we were going to do this or not. I kinda wanted to wait and see if she ever asked to get them pierced but I saw advantages of going ahead and doing it now. (It helped that Justin said people might stop calling her a he)

She did great! She screamed and made awful faces for about two minutes (I did cry with her) I have to say it was hard to watch...I made Justin hold her! After some Tylenol she was great, fell asleep quickly, and we walked around the mall.

She didn't miss a beat! Last night she went to bed just like normal slept on her ears (she sleeps on her tummy) and this morning she didn't flinch when I cleaned them. 

p.s. they aren't even red anymore!

1 year ago.....

One year ago today...

*I was looking at plane tickets to go to Boston to be with Christine while Issac had another surgery

* We went to Kroger and I was so close to tossing my cookies because someone spilled some Mountain Dew in the parking lot. To me it looked like vomit.

* While in Kroger I had to pee so bad that I used a public bathroom. (that was HUGE)

* Justin put a pregnancy test in our shopping cart- I said I just want to be sure before I spend money on the plane ticket. (I had been off BC for 2 months)

* I pee'd on a stick and three minutes later....I said " Honey.........." and Justin said " I already know"

Honestly I was terrified and excited all at the same time! I never could have imagined where we would be just one short year later:
